The World, The World, The World. It is all jacked up. Everybody crying and preaching that the world needs Jesus. But, I’m convinced that it doesn’t need Jesus. Remember, it had Jesus and it killed Him. The World needs real Christians. Jesus gave His life for it. It’s our turn now!!!
Jesus came to save others lives not His own.
Luke 9:23-25 And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me. 24″For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it. 25″For what does it profit a man if he should gain the whole World and lose his soul.”
Wow!! If we deny ourselves, preach the cross (like he did), give up our lives (personal plans for ourselves, like he did), do what He did and not store up for ourselves on earth, we will be saved and those around us won’t be confused trying seek momentary fame here and miss the fact that eternity with Jesus makes this life appear to be just a “mist” or “a vapor”.
James 4:14 What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
You have but a moment in what we call time. But eternity knows no time. If you’re going to live with him in eternity then live for him in time. The World doesn’t need Jesus, we have Jesus. The World need real Christians to take Jesus to the World.
