“…just like those in the path of this storm need a miracle and divine intervention from this natural storm, we are going to need it as well for the spiritual trauma that is coming upon the body of Christ and the individual members as well.”

My spirit has been disturbed throughout the day. When I prayed God showed me the news and “Hurricane Patricia”. The storm that is headed towards mainland Mexico. It is supposedly the strongest recorded storm ever with over 200 miles an hour winds. I have a member of our local church Erica Aguayo Olivares, who has family members in its wake. I asked God about these storms and the other devastations that are being released upon the earth seemingly one after another. He calmed my spirit by reminding me that these types of storms and things are prophesied. “There will be wars and rumors of wars, earthquake in divers places, famine, pestilence, etc.” Matthew 24:7

He then showed me this whole scenario of storms and trouble in the spirit realm. Everything that is being released on the Church and everything that the body of Christ is going through at this very hour is things that we know are going to happen. But just like this storm, since we know it’s coming it becomes our job to do all that we know how to do to prepare for it. God showed me that just like those in the path of this storm need a miracle and divine intervention from this natural storm, we are going to need it as well for the spiritual trauma that is coming upon the body of Christ and the individual members as well.

brewingStormIcelandHere is my prayer:
God, we need a miracle and divine intervention for what’s coming upon this land. Like the people in the path of Hurricane Patricia that are feverishly preparing themselves as best they can, help us, the body of Christ to do the same thing for what is facing us. Father, there are some people in the path of this storm and because of lack of communication they don’t even know the devastation that’s coming upon them in Mexico. And Father, there are some in the body of Christ because of lack of communication “Prayer to you” they are not aware of the devastation that is coming upon the body of Christ.

Father let this storm teach us that there is a storm approaching of the likes of which we have never seen before, and we must prepare ourselves for it. Teach us that we must pray, praise, worship, fellowship, study your word, share our faith and sow of our resources for the work of the ministry. And Father, when it’s all over, and the storm passes, let there be as little damage and lost of life as possible. So Lord we need divine intervention in Mexico In the natural and divine intervention spiritually in the body of Christ. Help us to do the possible and we will give you the praise for doing the impossible. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Pray for our brothers and sisters in Mexico. That’s saved and unsaved, that God will have mercy and that this storm will swiftly pass with as little collateral damage to lives as possible. Thanks.
