I am convinced that nothing is more important than being sure that you’re saved. Think about all of the folk “in church” who don’t have a clue about salvation. Please, if you’re trusting anything except Jesus for your salvation, stop it. Your denomination can’t save you. Your pastor, your bishop, your family, your works, your title nor any position you hold in the church can save you. Only JESUS can save you. He did everything that is necessary for you to be right with… God. You don’t try Jesus. You receive Jesus.
John 1:12 TLB
But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them.
Stopping smoking, lying, drinking, fornicating and stealing won’t save you. Only Jesus can save you.
Listen to Jesus.
John 5:39-40 “You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you’ll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren’t willing to receive from me the life you say you want.
Jesus is standing right before you. Don’t get caught up in doing and forget about “being”. Religion says, “DO”, Jesus says, “BE”.
Are you sure your’e saved????? If you’re not, ask Jesus to come into your heart right now. If you are saved take a moment and give him praise.
